July 16 marked my one-year anniversary of owning my own business. July 15, 2013 was my last day in the corporate world. I was ready to break free of the golden handcuffs and share what I love to share most….helping people discover new habits for health and productivity, while helping them kick ass in their life! Here’s some of things I’ve learned in the last year and how it applies to clients:
Marie Grace Berg Interview
In June I had the true honor of being interviewed by Marie Grace Berg and her Today’s Leading Women Podcast, a top business podcast for women entrepreneurs. I was brutally honest about my first year in business.
More Money or More Time?
What’s more important to you? More money to buy what you want or more time to spend playing? Do you think you can’t have both? Whether you tell me you want to make more money so you can pay to play or get more time so you are able to have fun with your family, coaching is individual and there won’t be a judgement from me.
MoPro Interview with Toby Head
In my third interview of the MoPro series on healthy and productive mobile professionals, road warriors and business travelers, I chose Toby Head, Founder and Owner of TH Associates, Dad, Husband, Triathlete and serious MoPro.
Get Focused Squirrel!
You know Dug the Dog from the movie Up? Well, I am like Dug except my squirrel is everywhere. People think because I’m a Productivity Coach that I’m not distracted and am hyper-focused. That couldn’t be farther from the truth. I just know how to handle it.
Walking Meetings for Your Butt and Your Brain
I love walking meetings. I try to have them as often as possible and typically know who will be game to do them. Walking meetings don’t have to be power walks where you’re sweating in your dress clothes. Even a slow stroll has loads of benefits. Need help incorporating them into your calendar? Read on…
MoPro Interview with Christine Wodke
In my second interview of the MoPro series on healthy and productive mobile professionals, road warriors and business travelers, I chose Christine Wodke. I found Christine in the Executive Athletes group and was super-impressed by her story. She has Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, something I had never even heard of. After watching a YouTube video describing the disease, I knew I had to contact her.
Sexy Goal Evaluation
Did that get your attention? Because the phrase goal evaluation would probably make your eyes glaze over and a quick click over to YouTube to watch a monkey riding a pig. Have you ever made a goal and not achieved it? Of course you have! Have you ever sat down and asked yourself why? Uh……What?
Five Things I’ve Learned About Relationships and Business Travel
Traveling frequently for business can be really tough on relationships. Your family or friends may think it’s all sightseeing, fancy meals and luxurious hotels. While it sometimes can be those things, more often it is flight delays, microwaveable hotel pantry food and walls so thin you can hear your neighbor flush.
